KootKey Chat
Messages are encrypted in your browser. The server only ever sees ciphertext, and your private key never leaves your drive.
Create an identity
You choose where to save the encrypted private key file: a USB pen drive or a folder on this computer. If you lose the file or forget the passphrase, the account and its messages cannot be recovered.
Open the key file you saved earlier. It is unlocked here in your browser and used to sign a one-time challenge, so no password is sent to the server.
How does this work? · View the public message board (ciphertext only, no sign-in needed).
